GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP DALAM PENCEGAHAN HIPERTENSI

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the health problems worldwide which is included as a non-communicable disease. Hypertension is a disorder of the circulatory system that causes an increase in blood pressure above the normal value of 140/90 mmHg. Person must have good knowledge about the prevention of hypertension and have an attitude that will be done every day to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This study aims to determine the Overview of the Level of Knowledge and Attitude of Prevention of Hypertension Recurrence in Sobrahlor Hamlet. The method used in this study is a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. With a population of 104 and obtained samples used by 83 respondents. This research instrument uses questionnaires. The data analysis use is univariate analysis with a data scale consisting of numeric and categorical. The average age of respondents in the study in Sobrahlor Hamlet was 53.57 years. Respondents in this study numbered 83 using Purposive Sampling technique with 43 women (51.8%) and 40 men (48.2%). An overview of the level of knowledge and attitude of hypertension prevention in Sobrahlor Hamlet shows that respondents mostly have good knowledge and attitudes. Good respondents' knowledge was 79 (95.2%) and good respondents' attitudes were 80 (96.4%).
